Spiritual Life of the School

Respecting the sacred dignity of each child is at the centre of both the formal and informal curriculum within our school. The values, ideals and challenges of the Gospel, embodied in the person of Jesus Christ, find explicit expression in our curriculum and the ethos of the school.

"Learning brings hope. In a Catholic school, that hope is based on the experience of God's love and care for all. At the heart of every Catholic school is a desire for the full flourishing of each student, across religious, physical, cognitive, emotional and social domains. It is a journey that is enlightened by faith, animated by love and leading to hope." Horizons of Hope - Catholic Education Victoria.

An integrated Religious Education Program is realised throughout the school and support and involvement of parents is greatly encouraged.

Meaningful lessons in Religious Education are part of the school day and support the growth of emotional intelligence and offer a way of being in our world. Gospel values of faith, hope and love permeate all aspects of school life.

Children have the opportunity to celebrate liturgies which reflect the liturgical seasons and the life of the school. They also participate in sacramental programs, daily prayer as part of the school day and participate in problem solving social justice issues.
